John Ziffren has worked in the entertainment industry for over thirty years, serving as Producer, Executive Producer, Senior Production Executive, or Head of Production on over two thousand episodes of broadcast, streaming, premium and basic cable and internet programming.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, John attended the Film School of the University of Southern California. After graduation, he began his affiliation with Spelling/Goldberg Productions — one of the most prolific television companies of the era — which continued for nearly a decade.

He then joined Brillstein-Grey, where he spent nine years producing and building their television enterprise. Most notably, he served as producer on The Larry Sanders Show, earning five Emmy nominations, six Cable Ace awards, and a Peabody award.

John spent seven years producing pilots and series at Twentieth Century Fox Television, followed by eight years at ABC Family, he joined ABC Signature as EVP of Production. He is currently EVP of Production for Disney Entertainment Television, leading production and post across Hulu, Disney+, and ABC.
